DESIGN TEAM DIRECTOR

As part of its development, AW² is looking to recruit a Design Team Director. Reporting directly to the partners and executive management, his/her missions are as follows:

• Manage several projects of various sizes and types simultaneously, which may or may not belong to the same geographical area.
• Responsible for the development and production of all the phases of the project: from briefing, needs analysis, clarification of objectives, design… to project completion, internal and external debriefings.
• In charge of estimating and managing resources and project contracts, planning, production and Client relations, in line with the guidelines established by the partners and the studio director.
• Responsible for the quality, profitability and schedules of his/her projects. Ensures that what is delivered to the Client complies with AW² requirements and guidelines.
• In charge of a team (project architects, assistant architects, interns), including recruitment, training and management. You are also responsible for the integration of new team members.
• Pont of contact of the Design Team , in line with the partners’ design guidelines.
• Contribute to the studio’s strategy implementation and business development.
• Internal and external ambassador of the “AW² project”.

Profile/skills:

• Architect, or interior designer, with at least 15 years’ experience in architectural firms, working on international projects. Experience in hotels, residential, mainly high-end contemporary projects.
• Software: Autocad, Revit, Adobe suite
• Global vision of the practice, operations and challenges of an architecture studio
• Simultaneous supervision and management of multiple projects, of all phases of design, studies, development and construction
• Proven creative and design skills
• Construction site experience is welcome
• Direct and transversal team management
