AW² architecture & interiors revolutionises the hospitality industry in Vietnam with the new Wink hotel brand, combining local traditions with contemporary trends. The studio is reshaping the hotel experience in Vietnam with the opening of the first three Wink Hotels: Saigon Centre, Danang Centre and Danang Riverside. Based on a universal concept, Wink Hotels combine the perfect balance of urban design, street life and local Vietnamese culture. Wink Hotel Danang Centre – the second hotel
in the Wink family – follows the same design codes as Wink Hotel Saigon Centre. The hotel offers 244 rooms over a surface area of 11,500 sqm.

The project brings Vietnamese street life into the lobby and public areas of the hotel with street life-inspired furniture designed by AW² and an interior design that resonates with the outside urban environment. A specific colour palette has been created for the brand by AW² and can be found throughout the hotel – from the scale of the bespoke cushion fabrics to the sunshades on the facades. The 244 hotel rooms are spread out on 20 levels. In the heart of Danang City, the building offers coworking and leisure areas, a café, a gym, and a “sky lobby” with an open bar.

The rooms have been conceived in order to optimise space. Designed as modern, creative pods, they offer guests every comfort in an elegant, minimalist setting. With the beds positioned facing the windows, each compact room opens up onto the city through the large triple-bay floor-to-ceiling windows framing the exceptional views. Featuring bespoke furniture, the rooms have been efficiently designed to maximise space usage whilst conveying the brand identity throughout. A glass partition tinted in one of the bespoke Wink colours creates privacy by separating the bathroom from the bedroom.
