 Stéphanie LEDOUX Partner
Stéphanie Ledoux, a French national, trained and qualified in Paris at the Ecole Spéciale d'Architecture under the tutorship of Fabienne Bulle, Paul Virilio and Masakasu Bokura. She also trained at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She won First Prize for Best Diploma in Ecole Spéciale d'Architecture.

Stéphanie Ledoux also furthered her training at Jean-François Lagneau Chief Architect of Historic Buildings Office in Paris. She then developed research projects for the Urban Planning Department of the New Town of Marne la Vallée.

She started her professional career working for several Parisian architecture offices, especially at Fabienne Bulle office, where she worked on competitions and several public buildings projects.

She the joined AW² as a project architect, and moved on to become a partner in 2002, at a time when the firm starts to be engaged in larger scale projects in several countries across the world.

Her presence has largely contributed to the expansion and reputation of AW² with important achievements such as ESMOD International fashion School in Paris, the Ho Chi Minh City French School or the refurbishment of a 30 000 sqm Technical Centre building in Paris for the French Ministry of Interior.

Today Stephanie Ledoux is personally involved, with Reda Amalou in the design of most of the projects produced by the office. Her work through AW² has been widely recognised.

Other achievements include completing the winning entry for the French School in Amman, Jordan architectural competition and for the refurbishment of Maison Krug in France. In the last few years the firm has also been rewarded with design awards and worldwide recognition for its projects, including the 2012 MIPIM award for Best Hotel and a nomination at the AFEX Grand Prix d'Architecture.
